The perfect one-on-one doesn't exist, but we can strive for a good one.
It looks like I have a few things to talk with my manager on our next 1:1. Thanks for the insights, Michal.
I’m glad it could be helpful, Alberto!
My controversial take is to not have an agenda most of the time 😅
I think that 30-40% of the o3 meetings is spent on personal conversation. Taking about families, lives, and so on.
To me that’s one of the critical goals - to build personal connection, that they’ll feel someone cares about them.
For me, that was part of the 'Curiosity' aspect (as it's for personal matters too).
When the purpose is to build personal connections, a no-agenda approach, along with a significant portion for personal updates, serves the purpose well.
Thanks for your perspective, Anton!
You are progressing so well lately!
Good luck with the course man :))
Thanks for the support, Orel!
