"The Almanack of Naval Ravikant: A Guide to Wealth and Happiness" by Eric Jorgenson 4/5
This book is a collection of transcripts and tweets by Naval Ravikant, the founder of Angelist, a website for startups.
It’s easy to digest as most of its content was recorded in spoken form, but at the same time it's precise and well formulated thanks to Naval Ravikant’s ability to produce clear thoughts. The book is grouped by concepts which connect all the interviews. I had listened to most of them before so it was a great addition to have them categorised.
Naval Ravikant, an unusual buddhist and entrepreneur has an interesting point of view on various aspects of life. He radiates calmness and includes insights which broaden your perspective on life and work.
There are a few dimensions on how we can look at this Almanack: the first is work done by the author of this collection to gather all the content, and the second is work done by Mr. Ravikant himself, who formulated his thoughts via his tweets and recordings. I focused this review's score on the former dimension. For the latter, Naval Ravikant and his thoughts, I’d give a score of 5.
All of the wisdom has been published free to download which is a great gift.
