“Antifragile: Things That Gain from Disorder” by Nasim Taleb 4/5
The book presents the concept of antifragility, the state of being an opposite to fragility. The term was first proposed by Taleb due to a lack of existing definition for such a concept. It has been presented from dozens of possible angles, so now I detect antifragility wherever I look.
This was my very first book by Nasim Taleb and it took a few chapters to get used to his style. It is strong and controversial. I’ve created a special category just to mark his rants as these do not have an impact on the concept itself and can be omitted during re-reading sessions. Nevertheless, antifragility is so interesting that all the author's features are long forgotten.
It gave another meaning to my running routine; going faster and stronger with all the stress and sweat involved is my own study of antifragility.
